Friday: Friday I had my last final and that was for psychology, I went into it pretty meh so I'm scared to see what my mark is for the final class. I'm a hundred percent sure that I passed. After that I hung out at Chaos (The New Drexoll) and waiting till the End of Eternity game to happen.
End of Eternity was fun! Some childish stuff happened IN GAME that concerned on going on In Character dates which I was put up to from a fellow Brothern, I made fun of the anarchs and said sorry for the Toradore for being using them as a meat shield.
Saturday: I woke up a short few hours later (3hrs) and went to Safeway to buy some stuff and make-up. I met up with two lovely and horrifying ladies Heather (Toradore Player) and Tiffany (Organizer of End of Eternity) and went shambling in Vancouver... I killed Shaun from Shaun of the dead and I got a massive sunburn on both my arms :( (treating with lotion) After words, I was invited in a Cam Game.
The Cam Game was the worse LARP that I attended... Hell, OBSERVING EOE was better because at least I felt welcomed. I went with Tiffany (Who me and her made fun of the Cam all night)... Fuck I hated Vampire Cam soo... Much, and to explain why I hate it I will post differences and so forth... Gah! And the only reason why I was interested in Cam games was of the global thing...
Observing:
EOE: End of Eternity is more of a gothicesque and moral dillenma then action based. EOE has rich characters that have pages of backgrounds. The Observer of course gets a say in the "Love Fest" in deciding who gets XP. The Observer also witnesses a total in character game. It is based around the first Vampire game.
Cam: The cam game is based off the second version and the troups in Vancouver and Victoria seem to be "Brutality" base with storylines that are combat heavy. Example: A vampire who is all about hurting people and so forth is "Praised" for character creation, where as in EOE a Character is praised for displaying the eternal struggle of Vampirism and Humanity.
NPCs:
EOE: NPC's play a heavy part in the game. In fact, it is common to FEAR NPCs more then PCs in the game. NPCs are sometimes played by Observers... and they have cool rolls. Some NPC Players played the Royal Harpy of Canada, Anarchs, Sabbat and Mages.
Cam: NPC's are food and are meant to be killed. NPCs are mainly ghouls and enemies... NPC's have information and should give that information willingly with ease.
Gah, this is taking too long so I'll just list what pissed me off:
- A player was a Gangrel with Humanity level 1 who RELENTED several times to self control tests. Power Player.
- A Character's Vices were anounced out of character by the Storyteller.
- In a torture scene (Where I was playing a ghoul) the character continued to beat my NPC as I was trying to give infromation.
- The Torture scene was "Good roleplay" according to the storyteller.
- Players, like Ghoul Players sat all by themselves for HOURS not talking or doing anything.
- OOCness all over the place!
- Combat, too long.
It pissed me off soooo much because some played OOC yelled at me for Metagaming my NPC because I know that Vampires were in the Club... Apperantly, being a ghoul doesn't mean the existence of a vampires are real... Espicually when the NPC is bouncing for Vampires with invitaions with their clan names on them...
Vancouver Cam is sooo fucking stupid.
I went to be disapointed with tried eyeliner on from Zombie walk.
(Thirteen Hour sleep)
Met up with Greg at eight, went to Voltaire! Voltaire was late, did a soundcheck (BEST SOUNDCHECK EVER!) and played a few songs... I had to leave the show early to catch my last train with Crag. I bought a shirt, told a girl that she's cute (Which she thought wasn't cool :( I hate Vancouver Girls).
Best part of the night (Besides Voltaire flipping out with the shitty sound system and decided to do it without speakers). Was when a girl from Descent was offering people Free shots of Vodka to celebrate Descent's one year and the first people she asked were Straight Edge! Greg and I declined saying we don't drink, she asked why and I said "Cause we're straight edge"
Technically, Craig is Fruit Edge, since he only eats Fruit in his diet and water...
On the way home we talked Coast to Coast things... Pretty interesting.
Also Tomorrow since Craig is here I'll list our ideas for a project and will let people vote for them and such!
Craig will be around for a few days!
I'm tired.. so i'm going to bed... Bought a Voltaire shirt!
Also Vancouver Girls suck ass, I told one she was cute like "Hey, I think you're cute" and she totally shunned me for it :(
